Process
» start with read alouds
» student selects and read 3-5 to themselves
» student selects a story for their presentation
» read it aloud several times, including reading to a partner or small group
» give feedback to partner about inflection, pronunciation, cadence
took 6-10 class periods
need twice as many (or more) texts as students
